The big thought, today, has revolved around artistry and entitlement. There are people whose jobs are in the creative arts, and who can lay claim to the title "artist" when talking about their profession or vocation. I was so jealous of people like this for such a long time that I think I invented a pathology just to torture myself with, which, as it turned out, was just another instance of me finding reasons to resent myself by resenting people who were more free than I was.
Also, as mentioned yesterday, I am rebooting DMail, an email newsletter that a whole lot of people liked and which I liked writing. If you want to be part of modern internet history, drop your email address here: combatdavey.substack.com.
