I'm thinking of rebooting DMail —— but seriously this time.
For the uninitiated, DMail was an email newsletter thing I wrote for a few years. It had a very dedicated readership. I lost focus and put it to bed in 2021 or 2022, but I've been writing a lot lately, and a lot of that writing (and the thinking behind it) has been very clear. This is new for me, and very exciting. That's why I'm think about reanimating the ol' boy and seeing what's what.
DMail was a lot of things, but it started as a project to help people enjoy the internet more. It was very link heavy, but also fun, funny, weird, open, and honest. Also, starting with DMail 033, every issue had a 10-song Spotify playlist, and I guess a lot of people liked the way I curated those and/or introduced them to bands or artists —— which is why I liked doing it in the first place.
