Outside of my beloved Raptors gutting out a win against Sacramento on the second night of a back-to-back (on the road, without several key players) the only good thing that happened today was that it ended. There's a story there, but it's not that interesting. The gist is that sometimes your day is just destined to be somewhere between grey, flat, and anxious. Today was that day for me. Later I found out it was that day for my partner as well. So we commiserated. And we made grilled cheese sandwiches. And we watched some of that Raptors game. And we bruised ourselves with the massage gun.
Winter is hard. It's not nearly as long as people like to say it is, but it's long enough that it is something to be endured and I suppose that's what we're all doing. Hopefully tomorrow I do a bit better.
