Let me catch you up.
❤️ On Wednesday, December 17 I decided to try to enjoy Vancouver (which I am in because I'm spending Christmas with my partner's family in Victoria) after harbouring a very active dislike of Vancouver for over 20 years and along the way shouted out establishments including Superbaba, Welk's General Store, and Lucky's Books and Comics.
❤️ On Thursday, I continued to look for things I enjoyed in or about Vancouver, which yielded some shouts for Chinatown BBQ and Breeze Bar.
Today's additions:
Bon's Off Broadway: Loved it. Somehow it was all of the best parts of the neighbourhood diners, student pubs, dive bars, and punk bars I've loved and lost over the years.
Andrea Gail: Miraculous. A literally perfect bar experience that felt like going back in time to Montreal in the 1990s.
