Yesterday I went Frazey and the day before I severed my cutting stone in Australia, among other things.
Today I'm going with more of the same, by which I mean it's fuckin' choonsday again —— shout out to my buddy Chelsea, a.k.a. Karmerr, whom I think of every time someone says "choon" or "choons" —— because why not? The world is fucked! America's death rattle is so loud, long, and dumb I think I have brain cancer! The Dodgers are the sorest winners imaginable~ Bandwagon Blue Jays fans who've been watching the team for five minutes have already turned on the team after a short losing streak at the most inconsequential part of the season! The President of the United States posted a literal murder on main! Megyn Kelly is saying the quiet part out loud in re: Fox News! Alex Jones is making sense! Iran is making animated Lego videos to AI-written bangers created to humiliate that aforementioned President and his cronies!
But, also, the players of the WNBA are finally getting paid closer to what they're worth —— and not a moment too soon.
At any rate I promised some choons and lies made the baby Jesus cry, so cram these motherfuckers in your ear hole right quick:

"I want to love somebody but I don't know how" is a heartbreaking enough lyric but when the gang vocal comes in at 1:11 my legs go all goosebumpy and a little part of me silently explodes.

The first track off Robyn's new record Sexistential surfs into my ear atop rounded, bubbling beats that androids are fucking to somewhere (and which remind me of every SNES driving game I played in the 1990s). Then it gets weird, and choppy, and a bit ugly. It's so good.

In truth I don't know Elder Island so well, but there's something I really, really like about "Letters," and about how smooth Katy Sargent's voice is. Also, this photo from their Wiki page.jpg) is such a fuckin' mood.
